These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of MMA Live (also referred to as MMA LIVE), operated by Liam Mooney as a sole proprietor in British Columbia, Canada.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using MMA Live, you agree to these Terms and the Community Guidelines. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use MMA Live.
3. Accounts
Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Accounts are intended for individual use and must not be transferred, shared for misuse, or used to evade an enforcement action. MMA Live may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts used in violation of these Terms.
4. User Content
User content includes usernames, profiles, avatars, statuses, Party Room messages, GIF selections, reactions, league names and descriptions, and other content you submit. You retain ownership of your content. You give MMA Live a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and process that content only as reasonably needed to operate, display, secure, and moderate the service. This license ends when the content is deleted, except where continued processing or retention is permitted under the Privacy Policy or applicable law.
5. Community Guidelines
You must follow the MMA Live Community Guidelines. Harassment, hate or abuse, threats, explicit sexual content, spam, scams, deceptive impersonation, and other prohibited conduct are not allowed. MMA Live may moderate content and take proportionate enforcement action, but does not guarantee that every violation will be detected or removed.
6. Reporting and Blocking
You may report users, profiles, and individual Party Room messages for review. A report does not guarantee a particular result or response time. False, retaliatory, or abusive reporting may itself violate these Terms. You may block another user to restrict normal social interaction and hide some content. Blocking does not necessarily remove either user from every shared space, such as a common Party Room.
7. Predictions and Fantasy
MMA predictions and Fantasy are entertainment and competition features based on real MMA events. Official results, data feeds, scoring, and calculations may be delayed or contain errors. MMA Live may correct obvious event, fighter, scoring, or data errors and adjust affected results.
8. Virtual Coins
Virtual coins may be earned through app activity. In the current launch version, coins cannot be purchased for money, withdrawn, redeemed for cash, or exchanged as cryptocurrency. Coins have no real-world monetary value and represent only a limited in-app feature. MMA Live may correct or adjust balances affected by errors, fraud, abuse, or manipulation.
9. Coin-Entry Leagues
Some leagues require a virtual-coin entry. Entry coins contribute to a virtual prize pool, and MMA Live currently applies a 10% administrative or rake fee. League payouts are made only in virtual coins, which cannot be withdrawn or redeemed for cash. Participation does not involve a real-money wager through MMA Live. You are responsible for ensuring that participation is lawful where you live.
10. Promotions and Contests
MMA Live may offer promotions, contests, or prize draws from time to time. A promotion may have separate official rules, eligibility requirements, and disclosures. No purchase will be required where applicable rules or law require a no-purchase method. These features are not guaranteed to be available.
11. No Sportsbook or Real-Money Wagering
MMA Live is not a sportsbook and does not currently accept real-money wagers. Virtual coins are not redeemable for cash. Laws and regulatory classifications may vary by jurisdiction, and you remain responsible for complying with local law.
12. Data and Statistics
Fighter, bout, event, result, and statistical information may come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, or incorrect. MMA Live does not guarantee real-time accuracy and may correct data, leaderboards, scores, or coin awards when errors are identified.
13. Third-Party Content and Services
MMA Live relies on third-party infrastructure, sports-data sources, GIF providers, and external news or website links. Third parties may have their own terms and privacy practices. To the extent permitted by law, MMA Live is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or content of third-party services or sites.
14. UFC Non-Affiliation
MMA Live is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by UFC or its parent, affiliated, or related entities unless explicitly stated. Third-party names, marks, and event information belong to their respective owners.
15. Intellectual Property
MMA Live’s software, interface, original content, and MMA Live branding are owned by or licensed to the operator and are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant ownership of MMA Live property. MMA Live does not claim ownership of user content or third-party MMA, fighter, organization, or UFC marks.
16. Suspension and Termination
MMA Live may reasonably restrict social features, suspend access, or terminate an account for violations of these Terms or the Community Guidelines, abuse, fraud, security threats, manipulation of coins or leagues, or unlawful activity. The action taken may depend on severity, context, and repeated conduct.
17. Account Deletion
You may delete your account through Profile settings. Account deletion removes the Auth account and most associated profile and activity data, but it does not guarantee immediate deletion of every record. The Privacy Policy describes limited retention for reconciliation, security, disputes, and legal obligations.
18. Service Changes and Availability
MMA Live may add, modify, correct, suspend, or discontinue features; perform maintenance; and change how the service operates. We do not promise that every feature or the service itself will always be available without interruption.
19. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, MMA Live is provided on an “as available” basis without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
20. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, MMA Live and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the service. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited or excluded.
21. Responsibility for Misuse
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonable losses or claims caused by your unlawful misuse of MMA Live, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights. This does not limit non-waivable consumer rights.
22. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, subject to mandatory consumer protections or other laws that may apply where you live.
23. Changes to These Terms
MMA Live may update these Terms as the service or legal requirements change. The revised Terms will display an updated date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
